3 Learning Outcomes:
Here are the learning outcomes for Unit 3, which overlap and connect with one another. I mainly focused on the period from December 2025 to May 2026, while also including some earlier work to show the development of my practice over time.
For the first learning outcome, especially the reflection on the Dear Moon book, I included posts from both 2024 and 2025 to show how the course has helped me grow both personally and professionally.
The links are arranged in chronological order, from older to newer posts, to clearly show how the ideas, projects, and reflections developed over time.
1- Present evidence of a body of work that demonstrates a systematic enhancement of your knowledge and understanding. (Realisation)
Over the last two years, my work has demonstrated a systematic enhancement of knowledge and understanding through sustained experimentation across social sculpture, ceramics, community facilitation and curation. My practice has evolved through a continuous cycle of research, reading, collaboration, reflection, and making, allowing each project to inform the next. Plus the course helped me become aware of why my practice is important, which became a momentum to move forward.
examples of evidences:
1- Dear Moon first edition and second edition:
Build more confidence and experience in something new to me, such as publishing a book. Leading workshops and exhibiting allows me to spread the word and enables more people to engage with the work, which has helped me notice new ideas and bring in new voices. There is a clear and significant development in both my confidence and writing voice when comparing my work from 2024 to where it is today.

3- ceramics:
A big step forward in my research, which has become much deeper and has led to building a larger body of work compared to three years ago, when I would make one piece and struggle to imagine what came next. This year, I developed better strategies through reading and discussion, helping me build a larger body of work that still feels cohesive, adds value to the practice, and demonstrates deeper research.

2- Synthesise and critically reflect coherently on your process whilst providing evidence of an active, independent and/or collaborative practice. Process
A significant part of my process involves collaborating with communities, reading, experimenting with materials, and exploring places. I regularly reflect on the successes, limitations, and unexpected outcomes within my projects, recognising mistakes and uncertainty as valuable parts of the creative process. This approach has strengthened both my conceptual understanding and technical confidence across different mediums.
Through projects, exhibitions, workshops, and research, I have developed a deeper understanding of communication, accessibility, and the social role of art. Engaging with diverse communities has expanded my ability to create inclusive environments while critically considering participation, authorship, and shared learning.
examples of evidences:
1- book making:
The process took two years to build knowledge and understanding, and I believe there is still more to learn and discover. The learning process involved printing two editions, exhibiting the work several times in different places, and running workshops.

13th May 2026: Home and Away – Karema (Included in different sections)

2- ceramics and tea story
This year, the process took more time, as I studied each step involved in making the tea set. Each stage led naturally to the next, involving experimentation with materials, further reading, discussions, and visits, all of which helped build a larger body of work.

3- reading
Reading is a very important part of my process, and many ideas came from reading, which eventually led me to produce a book. Reading is the easiest way to engage with people, histories, and places without leaving your own space.

3- Summarise and evaluate your overall progress and formulate a constructive plan for continuing Personal and Professional Development. Communication
Over the past two years, I have made significant progress both personally and professionally by strengthening the relationship between my research, socially engaged practice, and artistic production. My work has become more critically informed and interdisciplinary, giving me greater confidence in combining different approaches.
A major area of growth has been embracing experimentation, uncertainty, and technical challenges. Designing and producing Dear Moon independently, building a 22-piece tea set, and curating exhibitions have all expanded my skills and confidence as an artist. Choosing to present Dear Moon for the MA show reflects the knowledge and experience developed over the last two years, a collective voice brought together through writing, collaboration, and images I have produced and developed over many years.
This experience has helped me build a strong foundation for a growing practice, alongside an audience and supportive community around the work. I have already secured projects through to 2027, and I’m confident more opportunities will follow. This wouldn’t have been possible without the trust and confidence I developed during my time here.
